  Alan has been the Head Professional at Caldy Golf Club since 2004 and was previously Assistant Professional at the Club from 1996. Alan is a fully qualified professional and has advanced knowledge of the rules of golf and competitions. With over twenty years experience in coaching and retailing, Alan is more than happy to assist both members and visitors improve and refine their golf game to help with their enjoyment.

Lessons

Caldy Golf Club has an excellent indoor teaching room complete with Sky-Trak launch monitor, as well as top class outdoor practice facilities.

Alan offers the following lesson packages:

• ½ hour lesson – £20.00
• 1 hour lesson – £35.00
• 7 holes playing lesson – £40.00
• Short game course (1½ hours) – £40.00

Assistant Professional - Matt Bowes

• PGA Qualified Professional - Level 1 and 2 Coaching
  
  Matt Bowes joined the Caldy Golf CLub Team in early 2023. He was previously at Heswall Golf Club and the Paul McGinley Golf Academy at Quinta do Lago, Portugal. Matt received his PGA Card in 2019 and specialises in Junior and Lady coaching.

Professional Shop

The Professional Shop at Caldy Golf Club has a large variety of stock and equipment for golfers at every level of the game.

Although brands are regularly rotated, club-wise we currently stock Callaway, Taylor-Made and Odyssey. Clothing brands stocked, for both men and ladies, include Oscar Jacobson, Foot-joy, Adidas, Röhnisch, De Luca and Daily Sports.
